Hosting and technical logs
To deliver the pages and protect the website against abuse and attacks, our host Cloudflare necessarily processes technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system (user agent).
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor. Some of this data may be processed outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). More information: Cloudflare privacy policy.
When you write to us
If you contact us by email, we use your email address and the content of your message only to answer you and follow up on your request. We keep them only as long as necessary for that purpose and never share them for marketing.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive, or steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Embedded third-party content
YouTube videos. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click on a video. The video then plays from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode), and Google receives data such as your IP address and may store information on your device. Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking. See Google’s privacy policy.
Steam widget. The home page displays the official Steam store widget, loaded from Valve’s servers when you scroll down to it. Valve then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. See Valve’s privacy policy. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings.
External links
Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube, TikTok and X take you to services that have their own privacy policies. We receive no data from them through this website.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@hauterochestudio.be; we answer within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example when the website changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
